Footsteps along concrete,
Drumming to the composition of the bay,

An open passage to, out, and Beyond the anxieties of my day,

As my thoughts echo against the almost non-existent current

Next to me,

I am enchanted again,
As I am greeted,

And am enchanted because becoming tranquil can be quite incredible after a day at work,

An hour in traffic,

"Hey Brotha"

I was uplifted entirely that night the lights were out at the water front,

All lamps,

I felt the fishermen,

The runners,

The lovers,

The passersby,
