Mission of Love Theme
by Jay Rodriguez
Featuring Jay Rodriguez on flute,
and Bill Ware on synthesizer
streaming

The soundtrack for Mission of Love was created at Bill Ware's home/studio. He played his synthesizer, and Jay Rodriguez played his saxophones and flute. Together they improvised and composed several themes for various characters, and some sound effects too. Martha Cinader and Jeannie Hopper pitched in with some vocals for the regeneration ceremony. It got a little loud, and many of Bill's neighbors came to their windows to see what might be going on in his room on such a hot summer night. We have to talk to Bill and Jay, who are both presently trotting around the globe, but will get back to you with information about exactly who did what.

Hayes Greenfield is a musician who Martha collaborated with previously in various formations of poetry with music. He wrote a beautiful composition for "Shall I Compare You to a Summer's Night", a sonnet in the most recent version of the play. During rehearsal Walter Fischbacher came up with a memorable harmonic line for Stephanie to sing in counterpoint to her sister Suzanne at the Club Vinyl performance.
